A history of the “mosaico minuto,” – literally “tiny mosaic”- an explanation of its technique and a demonstration of its practicality by one of the best and renowned creator of Roman mosaics, Carlo Meloni, who follows a long tradition of the craft.. His works create a bond between the artisan wisdom of the perfect cut and a chromatic sensibility, rendering a perfect “deceit of the eye” in his works. There is continuous experimentation of the technique enabling the possibilities of the mosaic that creates color, shape and light.

The piano returns to the category of percussion chords, previously belonging to picked chords.
Become familiar with the characteristics of the piano, manifested in the course of history of music from the works of Bach and Mozart, concluding with artists of the 1900’s, such as Debussy and Ravel. The conversation will include musical examples, listenings and practical demonstrations.
Our path begins with a reflection on the nature of sound, researching musical material, ending with a poetical analysis.
